1. Who we are

Drive Finder Malaysia is operated by Uniq Labs Pte. Ltd., Singapore. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share your personal data. We aim to comply with the Malaysian Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA Malaysia) alongside Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act.

2. What we collect

  • Request data: your name, WhatsApp number, email, state, district preference, licence class, and any notes you provide.
  • Payment data: processed via DuitNow or Stripe. We do not store card or bank account numbers.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser and device info via standard server logs and Vercel Analytics.

3. How we use your data

  • To match you with JPJ-licensed driving schools.
  • To share your first name and WhatsApp number with the matched school so they can confirm enrolment.
  • To communicate with you about your request via WhatsApp, SMS or email.
  • To process payment.
  • To improve our service (anonymised analytics only).

4. Who we share it with

  • Matched school: your first name and WhatsApp number only, after we confirm a match.
  • Payment processors: Stripe for card payments only. DuitNow transfers go directly between your bank and ours.
  • No one else. We do not sell, rent, or trade your data to third parties.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your request data for 12 months for service delivery, dispute resolution, and improvement. After that, we anonymise or delete it. You can request deletion at any time (see Section 7).

6. Security

We use industry-standard security including HTTPS, encrypted storage, and access controls.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data. To exercise these rights, reach out on the message thread we used to coordinate your request. We will respond within 30 days.

8. Cookies

We use minimal cookies for session management. We use Vercel Analytics for anonymised traffic data. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

9. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. Material changes will be announced on this page.
